Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday are playing the lead roles in the upcoming pan-India film Liger. The film is directed by Puri Jagannath. The film's promotions are currently in full swing as the movie is releasing tomorrow in a grand manner.

Meanwhile, in one of the promotional interviews, Puri Jagannath opened up on the film's story, confirming that it is an action thriller.

“Liger is essentially an action thriller. It revolves around a mother and her son," said Puri, indicating that the mother-son sentiment in the film is going to impress everyone big time.

The film follows the journey of a mother who wants to see her son as a national champion in Martial Arts. In the journey, how he falls in love and how things will progress ahead forms the story of the film.

Puri Jagannath and Charmmee Kaur are producing the film.
