Natural Star Nani scored a big hit with the film Shyam Singha Roy. The film featured Krithi Shetty, Sai Pallavi, and Madonna Sebastian in the female lead roles. Directed by Rahul Sankirtyan, the film is now in contention for the Oscars.

The latest reports say that the film is nominated in three categories - periodic film, background score, and classical cultural dance India film.

The makers made a wise decision by sending the film to the Oscars in the nominations that it truly deserves. It would be great if the film bags an Oscar in the classical cultural dance India film category.

The songs and background score for the movie were provided by Mickey J Meyer. Venkat Boyanapalli produced the film under the Niharika Entertainments banner.
