Touted to be a socio fantasy drama, Nandamuri Hero Kalyan Ram starrer 'Bimbisara' has been making a huge noise at the box office. The film which recently got released on 5 August 2022 has been receiving positive talk from the first show.

Now an interesting thing about the film is now doing rounds on the Internet. Apparently, Kalyan Ram was not the first choice for the film. Interestingly, the film went to Ravi Teja initially. It seems like the director of the film Mallidi Vashisht has first narrated the story to Ravi Teja but the mass hero didn't like the script and as he fell that doing a role with negative shades might affect his career. He was also worried about how a new director will handle the visual effects of the film. After Ravi Teja's rejection the director got Kalyan Ram's nod for the film. It seems like Kalyan Ram trusted both the script and the director which worked out well.

On the other hand, Ravi Teja is known for rejecting blockbuster movies like 'Pokiri', 'Pataas', 'Oosaravelli' etc.
