Rakul Preet Singh who marked her debut in Tollywood with 'Keratam' movie shot to fame with Sandeep Kishan starrer, 'Venkatadri Express'. After that, the actress scored back to back superhit films with 'Nannaku Prematho', 'Sarrainodu', 'Dhruva', Jaya Janaki Nayaka' etc.

But after Mahesh Babu starrer 'Spyder', Rakul Preet's career took a toll. She tested her luck in Bollywood with 'De De Pyar De'. Though Rakul came back to Tollywood again with Nagarjuna starrer, 'Manmadhudu 2' which also ended up as a biggest disaster at the box office. The actress started focusing more only on her Bollywood career and has kept Tollywood aside. Rumours came out that the actress is quite upset with the way Telugu directors are showcasing her as a glam doll. Interestingly, she has been doing more glamourous roles in Bollywood films she ever did in Telugu cinema. Rakul has a bunch of projects in Bollywood but most of her roles are more infeerior to what she has done in Tollywood. So, rumours are rife that Rakul is now planning to mark her come back in Tollywood. On this note, Rakul also requested her 'Sarrainodu' costar Allu Arjun to release her first music video 'Mashooka' and Bunny also accepted her request and tweeted about it.

On the other hand, Rakul was last seen in Telugu in 'Kondapalam' movies starring Vaishnav Tej and the movie also bombed at the box office. We have to wait and see which Tollywood Young Hero will give Rakul Preet a second chance in Tollywood.
