Chandramukhi is one of the biggest hits in Superstar Rajinikanth's career. Directed by P.Vasu, this horror thriller featured Jyotika, Nayanthara and Prabhu in the other lead roles. After 17 years of its release, P. Vasu is making a sequel to this movie in Tamil.

Raghava Lawrence will be playing the lead role in it. The film was launched recently. Ahead of its launch, Lawrence met Rajini and also sought his blessings.

Meanwhile, we hear an interesting update about this movie. Apparently, Chandramukhi 2 will feature five heroines. Apart from Jyotika and Nayanthara, Chandramukhi featured Malavika and Suvarna Mathew in other key roles.

It is heard that the sequel will feature Lakshmi Menon, Manjima Mohan, Srushti Dange, Mahima Nambiar and Subheeksha Krishnan in pivotal characters.
