Just a few hours back, a lot of rumours in social media suggested that this versatile actor Chiyaan Vikram faced a cardiac attack and got admitted in a private hospital in Chennai.

Though the Vikram hospiisation is true, the reason was said to be false. It is said that Vikram got hospitalised after facing mild discomfort in the chest.

Confirming the same, reports from hospital released a few minutes ago stated that Vikram had only chest discomforts and he is doing fine now and is likely to be discharged from the hospital soon.

Reacting to this, even Vikram's son Dhruv took to his Instagram account and wrote " Dear fans and well wishers, Appa had mild chest discomfort and is being treated for the same. He did not have a heart attack as reports falsely claim. We are pained to hear rumours to this effect. That being said, we request you to give him and family the privacy we need at this time. Chiyaan is fine now and is likely to get discharged from the hospital in a day. We hope this statement provides clarity and trust that the false rumours will be put to rest".
