The OTT platforms have been affecting the movie business lately. We have been seeing that only a few movies are getting succeeded in receiving huge opening collections.

Movies like 'Bheemla Nayak', 'DJ Tillu', 'RRR', 'KGF 2 sure got mesmerizing opening collections but on the other hand, star movies like 'Acharya' failed to get good numbers with its opening collections.

As most of the movies are getting released on the OTT platforms just 2 to 3 weeks after the theatrical release, the audience are also showing interest to watch the movies on OTT platforms at the comfort of their homes. On this note, the producers want to keep a 50 days Window for the OTT release. The Tollywood producers have decided to start the 50 days window for OTT release for all the movies which are going to get released from July 1st.

So, we can say that the movies like Pakka Commercial, Thank You, Warrior, Liger, Godfather, etc which are getting released in July will have a 50 days Window for its OTT release.

However, there are mixed reactions to the same. We have to see if the small-budgeted flicks will suffer with the deal.
