Last week, Shahid Kapoor's Jersey had hit the screens but became a washout at the box office due to KGF 2's storm. This time, Ajay Devgn's Runway 34 and Tiger Shroff's Heropanti 2 had hit the screens.

Bollywood pinned a lot of hopes on these movies and prayed for these flicks' success. But the initial talk of both the films is very disappointing.

Runway 34 features Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. It is a class film that doesn't have any mass appeal. So, on the first day, collections were dull.

On the flip side, audiences are bored by the repetitive action flicks of Tiger Shroff. Thus, it didn't get minimum openings on the first day.

Even during the weekend, both the Hindi films failed to perform well at the box office.
