The Malayalam movie remake season was on the rage in Tollywood because of films like Ayyappanum Koshiyum and Lucifer. Following the same, recent blockbuster "DJ Tillu" production banner Sithara Entertainments bagged Malayalam super hit movie "Kappela'' remake rights and are excited to remake it in Telugu.

Director Trivikram Srinivas launched this film and the film is expected to go on floors in August. During the launch, Siddhu Jonnalagadda was said to reprise the role of Roshan Mathew in the film. Though the Kappela movie is heroine-centric, Roshan's role in the Malayalam Kappela movie has gained a lot of love from audiences with various shades. While such a role is offered to Siddhu, everyone thought he would make it more perfect.

But as per the reports, Siddhu surprised everyone by rejecting this role. Yes, after scoring a blockbuster with DJ Tillu, it is heard that Siddhu was not interested to do such a role and rejected it, though it was offered to him by Sithara Entertainments who produced the DJ Tillu movie.
