Shaam is one of the talented actors in the Telugu film industry who shot to fame with Kick. Having played a very important role in Ravi Teja's Kick, the actor impressed everyone big time. After Kick's success, he acted in a lot of Telugu films but nothing bought him more recognition. Now, he is gearing up to be a part of an upcoming bilingual.

Shaam is going to be seen as Thalapathy Vijay's brother in his Telugu debut which is yet to get a title. Tentatively named Thalapathy66, the film is directed by Vamshi Paidipally. The film's casting is in progress and the makers already roped in Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.

The makers already wrapped up the shoot of the first schedule of the movie. The film is billed to be an interesting drama with a lot of romantic elements in it. Already, Vijay and Shaam acted together in the 2000 flick Kushi.
