Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone has been grabbing the attention of the audience both as a producer as well as an actress. The actress has revealed on so many occasions that 'Draupadi' has always been her dream project.

Draupadi is one of the major reasons behind the Kurukshetra war in Mahabharatam and what if the entire story of Draupadi is showcased from a feminist point of view is the plotline of the film announced by Deepika Padukone recently.

Deepika also announced that she will portray the role of the 'Draupadi' in the film. It has been two years but the film hasn't got materialized yet. So, rumors came out that the project got shelved and Deepika is not showing interest in reviving the project.

But recently, while talking in an interview, Deepika Padukone has rubbished the rumors claiming that there is no truth in these rumors. "Draupadi is still my dream project. It will definitely go on roll. But it will take some time and the movie-related works are going on silently," said Deepika.

On the other hand, Deepika Padukone who recently appeared in Ranveer Singh starrer '83' is all set to play the female lead in young Rebel Star Prabhas's upcoming film 'Project K' under the direction of 'Mahanati' fame director Nag Ashwin.
