Director Ramesh Varma made his debut way back in 2005 with the film Oka Oorlio. Even though he has a career spanning over a decade and a half, Varma is yet to score a big success.
Rakshasudu was the biggest hit in his career. He tried to score a bigger blockbuster with his recent film Khiladi. However, it ended up as a flop at the box office.
Starring Ravi Teja, Dimple Hayathi and Meenakshi Chaudhary in the lead roles, Khiladi had hit the screens last Friday and garnered a negative talk from the audiences. As a result, the collections are dull and it may end up as a failure.
However, the producer Koneru Satyanarayana is in a safe zone due to pre-release business. The buyers and distributors may end up in huge losses.
Before the release of the film, the producer was highly satisfied with the output and also gifted a car worth Rs.1 crore to Ramesh Varma.
They have also announced that they will team up once again for a high-budget project of Rs. 100 crores. After the result of Khiladi, it has to be seen if Satyanarayana keeps up his promise and take a risk of making such a high-budget project with Ramesh Varma.
