It has been quite some days after the High Court has directed the Telangana government to submit the details of the Tollywood drug case along with the FIRs, charge sheets, and forensic reports.

On this note, the enforcement department (ED) officials have written a letter to the excise department seeking information regarding the Tollywood drug case. The ED officials have now suspected money laundering aspect also in the drug case and the agency is likely to resume the investigation. The ED officials previously questioned more than 10 Tollywood actors, actresses, directors, etc regarding money transactions to drug peddlers. But now, The ED officials have obtained some leads again in the case and are now seeking the excise officials to submit comprehensive reports.

The ED officials also sent notices to Tollywood celebs asking them to reappear before the agency. Though the officials have given a clean chit to Tollywood personalities, the ED officials are now investigating the money laundering aspect.
