'Jana Gana Mana' is undoubtedly a dream project for maverick director Puri Jagannath. The director who wanted to make the film with none other than Superstar Mahesh Babu is all set to kickstart the shoot without Mahesh Babu.

Rumors are rife that Mahesh Babu walked out of the project for the reasons best known to him. Now, Puri Jagannath has decided to make the film with Rowdy boy Vijay Deverakonda. The young hero is currently busy with 'Liger' which is touted to be a sports film. Vijay Devarakonda will be playing the role of boxer in the movie. The title itself is hinting that the film will be a patriotic one which will have Puri mark commercial elements as well. Rumours are rife that Vijay Devarakonda will play the role of a soldier in this movie. According to the buzz, the story is about a soldier fighting for the rights of common people amid the dominance of political leaders.

However, the official announcement regarding the plotline of the movie is yet to get released. The fans are also equally excited to see Vijay Deverakonda delivering an intense performance in the film.
