Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal's son Pranav Mohanlal scored his first big success with his latest film Hridayam. It was released on January 21st and has received a thumping response from the audience.

Hridayam proved to be the first big success in the Malayalam film industry after the pandemic. After witnessing its response in theatres, people who are unable to visit the cinema halls, are eagerly waiting for its digital release.

Here is an update for those folks. The digital rights of Hridayam have been bagged by Disney+ Hotstar. However, there is no clarity about when the film will get released on this OTT platform.

Generally, Hotstar doesn't stream movies within a couple of weeks after the theatrical release. It waits for at least four-six weeks. Thus, it means that Hridayam may premiere digitally in the last week of February.

If the theatrical business still goes good, the makers may push the digital release date a bit further, opined the sources.

Directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, Hridayam features Kalyani Priyadarshan and Darshana Rajendran as the female leads.
