Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is making his Bollywood debut with the upcoming biggie Laal Singh Chaddha. Directed by Advaith Chandan, this film features Aamir Khan in the lead role. Chay is playing a pivotal role in it. Laal Singh Chaddha is an official adaptation of the 1994 Hollywood release Forrest Gump.

The Love Story actor says that the way the film was adapted to the Indian sensibilities is what intrigued him in accepting the role.

Speaking in a recent interview with Filmfare, Chay said, "The way they have adapted it to our Indian culture and our Indian sensibilities is what intrigued me the most when I heard the script. They've covered some really important events down our timeline."

Chaitanya said that he is very excited and cannot wait for the audience to witness it in the theatres. He stated that the entire team is really pumped up about the film.

Laal Singh Chaddha features Kareena Kapoor as the female lead. It is slated for worldwide release on April 14th this year.

Meanwhile, Chaitanya is currently enjoying the success of his recent film Bangarraju.
