Superstar Krishna's eldest son and former actor Ramesh Babu passed away the other day in Hyderabad. Reportedly, he had been suffering from liver-related issues for quite some time.

His health condition deteriorated yesterday and he was immediately taken to the AIG Hospitals in Gachibowli. The doctors confirmed that he was brought dead. Ramesh Babu was 56.

It is heard that Ramesh Babu's final rites will be held in Maha Prasthanam this afternoon. Fans are requested not to attend the funeral due to the COVID-19 scenario.

Even Ramesh Babu's younger brother Mahesh Babu is not expected to attend the rites as he was tested positive for the coronavirus a few days back.

Ramesh Babu made his entry into films as a child artist. He made his entry as a lead hero with Samrat. He acted in over 20 films in his career. His last film was the 1997 release Encounter.

Ramesh lived with his wife Mrudula and children Bharati and Jayakrishna. Many fans and celebrities have paid their last respects to Ramesh Babu on social media.
