The first part of Pushpa finally hit the theatres on December 17th and has been receiving a thumping response from the audience. Despite getting an average talk, the film has been making decent collections at the box office.

Especially, the B and C audience loved the film. Now the makers are all set to kick start the shooting of the second part titled as 'Pushpa: The Rule'. Sukumar has already revealed that he will kick start the shooting of the film by February next month and will release the film by Dussehra or December next year. Bunny has already given his dates and Fahadh is yet to allot the dates for the shooting. Now, the director is set to make changes to the second part's script.

Sukumar has written the story for the second part with more mother sentiment but it seems like he has reduced that dose now. He is yet to work on Bunny and Rashmika's track as well. By February next year, Sukumar will wrap up the final script and kick start the shooting.
