Senior Hero Nandamuri Balakrishna who is currently enjoying the grand success of his recent outing 'Akhanda' directed by Boyapati Srinu recently went to goddess Kanaka Durga temple in Vijayawada.

Director Boyapati Srinu and producer of the film Ravindra Reddy Miriyala also accompanied him in his temple visit. Balakrishna has performed some special pooja to the Goddess. "We wanted to take the Darshan of goddess after the release of the film. Some people asked me to rethink my decision due to the reduction of ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh. But we took a step of releasing the film and our estimations got right. We are glad to see the audience coming to the theatres with their families," says Balakrishna.

He further added that so many filmmakers got the courage to release their films after the success of 'Akhanda'. He also said that he is ready to do multistarrer movies as well if the script is good.
