Mega Hero Sai Dharam Tej's 'Republic' film hit the theatres on October 1st and ended up as an average grocer at the box office. However, the movie became a huge success in the digital space.

The film got premiered on Zee 5 on November 26. According to the latest reports, the film has clocked 12 crore viewing minutes in the first seven days of the premier and created a new record for the film. Also, Zee5 has done heavy marketing for this film. They have introduced director Deva Katta's commentary for this movie where the director is seen explaining the vision behind making this film which also became one of the reasons behind its success.

On the other hand, Sai Dharam Tej starrer 'Solo Brathuke So Better' also premiered in Zee5 and received a decent response from the audience. Touted to be a political drama, Republic featured Aishwarya Rajesh as the female lead.
