Performing comedy is not an easy task. Not many actors have that timing which can make the audience laugh out loud. Thus, most of the actors avoid doing comical roles. But top actress Lavanya Tripathi is going to take that risk.

She is all set to do a comical role in her next. This is the first time she is attempting such a character in her career. The Andala Rakshasi actress will be playing a never-seen-before character in an upcoming crime comedy film, which is being directed by Ritesh Rana of Mathu Vadalara fame.

Lavanya will start shooting for this film soon. She feels that this film gave her a chance to experiment with the comedy genre. She is also participating in workshops to get into the skin of the character.

Speaking in a recent interview with the Deccan Chronicle, Lavanya said, "I have been working on my comic quotient, pun, and timing, apart from body language for my role. It’s been a great experience and I am looking forward to start shooting."

The 30-year-old actress said that it is a very strong character and requires a lot of time to develop. But she is willing to spend any length of time on it.
