Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently playing the lead role in the upcoming Telugu film titled Godfather. Godfather is the official remake of the Malayalam hit film Lucifer. Mohanlal played the lead role in the original. Manju Warrier played his sister in the film. Now, for the same role, the makers reportedly roped in Ramya Krishna.

As per the latest reports in the film nagar, the makers of Godfather approached Ramya Krishna for this key role in the film and she is said to have shown interest to be a part of the film. Ramya Krishna is reportedly busy with a bunch of projects and she is eager to do this as well.

There are reports in the media that Nayanthara was initially approached for the role but finally, it looks like Ramya Krishna bagged the character. The complete details of the film will be out soon.
