Director Sukumar is busy shooting for the film Pushpa. The film's first part is titled Pushpa: The Rise. The film unit canned the majority of the portions already but there are different reports about the film's shoot. Now, we learned that the makers completed the majority of the shoot and are only left with the item song.

Director Sukumar is currently overseeing the post-production works of the film as well. He is making sure to not miss a deadline for the project. The film unit confirmed that the movie will hit the screens on December 17th and they do not want to miss the date.

Fahadh Faasil, Sunil, Anasuya, and others are a part of the project as well. Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling the film. Devi Sri Prasad is the film's music director.
