Actress Sherlyn Chopra gave a statement against Raj Kundra when he was arrested recently in a porn-racket case. Just about a week ago, Sherlyn filed a complaint on Raj and his wife Shilpa Shetty for harassing her mentally and physically.

Sherlyn accused Kundra of sexual harassment, criminal intimidation and cheating. She also accused Kundra and Shilpa of fraud.

Now, the couple filed a defamation case on Sherlyn seeking an apology and Rs. 50 crore in damages for making "lewd, below the belt" remarks on them on public platforms. The legal notice was sent by the couple's lawyer Prashant P Patil.

"The entire allegations made by Ms Sherlyn Chopra against Mr Raj Kundra and Ms Shilpa Shetty Kundra, are concocted, false, fake, frivolous, baseless, without any evidence, even to Ms Sherlyn Chopra’s knowledge, and have been made with an ulterior motive to defame and extort money," read the statement.

The notice stated that Raj Kundra is the founder of the JL Stream App which allows the users to meet and chat with their favourite influencers. Sherlyn is one of the 300 artists who is associated with the app. She had a one-year contract that ended in July 2021.

The notice also stated that Shilpa Shetty has no connection with the app and she is being dragged into the case unnecessarily.
