Adipurush is one of the prestigious projects being made in the country right now. The pan-India film is based on the epic tale Ramayana where Prabhas is essaying the role of Lord Sriram. Kriti Sanon is playing his pair in the role of 'Janaki'. The actress successfully completed the shoot of her part in the film. Director Om Raut took to his Twitter profile to give an update on the same.

"Dear Kriti, it was magical watching you play Janaki. Can’t believe your part is wrapped up. What a lovely journey!!!" he wrote. Kriti Sanon also shared her happiness about being a part of the film. "Can’t believe this journey has come to an end so soon! 😢 My heart sinks as I let go of this super special character that I’m extremely proud to have played: JANAKI ! Her loving heart, her pious soul and her unshakable strength will somewhere stay within me forever!" wrote Kriti Sanon.

The actress also mentioned, "Thank you @omraut for giving me Janaki and believing that i could carry the weight and responsibility that the character came with. Thank you for holding my hand through this journey and finding her with me! Your vision is extraordinary and I can’t wait for the world to see it! A film I’ll always be extremely proud of! ❤️ #Adipurush" A few days ago Saif Ali Khan also completed the shoot of his part in the film. Saif played the lead antagonist, 'Lankesh' in the movie.

Adipurush is scheduled for a grand release on 11th August, 2022.
