Samantha had planned her career and life perfectly but things did not go well as expected. The talented star actress was actually planning to have a baby with Naga Chaitanya this year but they announced the separation recently.

Speaking to the media, Shakuntalam producer Neelima Guna has spilled the beans. When Neelima approached Samantha for Shakuntalam, Samantha revealed to her the plans to have a baby. Samantha wanted to become a mother and it was her priority then.

"Samantha asked if we can finish the shoot at the earliest as she was planning to have a baby," revealed Neelima Guna. The film unit wrapped up the shoot in less working days.

Samantha was also planning to not sign any more films and take a lengthy break in order to focus on her personal life. Despite getting many offers from Mumbai after The Family Man 2, Samantha decided to take a break.
