As theatres started filling up with the crowd, the makers are now daring to announce the release dates of their big-budget projects which are lying under the cans for a long time. One of the biggies that is yet to announce its release date is Megastar Chiranjeevi's Acharya.

This Koratala Siva directorial project was supposed to hit the screens on May 13th this year. However, the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic has ruined all the plans. Even the shoot got delayed for a long time due to the lockdown.

As per the latest sources, the makers will decide the release date of Acharya today or tomorrow. Most probably, it will hit the screens either during Christmas or in March 2022. It is being heard that Pushpa's release date will be shifted as per Acharya's arrival. Apparently, Allu Arjun's flick may take the open slot left by Acharya.

Meanwhile, the makers of Pushpa announced its release date as December 17, just a couple of days back. It has to be seen if they push the release if Acharya decides to come during the Christmas season.
