Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi's Love Story recorded stupendous openings across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana last Friday. The glorious run continued on Saturday and Sunday as well. However, the collections witnessed a drop on the weekdays.
There was a significant drop in the collections on Monday and Tuesday. Incessant rains in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh due to Cyclone Gulab has affected Love Story's theatrical run.
On the fourth day of its release (Monday), Love Story managed to collect Rs. 2.5 crores. On the fifth day (Tuesday), the number further dropped to Rs. 1.2 crores. It has to be seen if it manages to pickup or declines even further in the coming days.
Surprisingly, Love Story exceeded expectations and did extremely well in the Nizam area by collecting more than Rs. 10 crores in the region. Love Story was directed by Shekhar Kammula and produced by Puskar Ram Mohan Rao and Sunil Narang.
