Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's speech during the pre-release event of Republic opened a debate on the relations between the government and the film industry. Pawan Kalyan's comments clearly indicate that the Andhra Pradesh government is not in favor of the demands put forward by the film industry.

However, Pawan gets a shock with the Telugu film chamber of commerce expressing a diverse opinion that is different from what Pawan Kalyan has put forward.

In a press note released by the Telugu film chamber of commerce on Sunday, they mentioned that the government is always supporting and encouraging them. They added that the opinions mentioned by individuals on different platforms do not represent the voice of the film industry, as a whole.

It clearly says that the comments made by Pawan Kalyan have created a rift already between the film industry and government. We have to see if Pawan Kalyan further makes any statement on this.
