Aamir Khan's next film Lal Singh Chaddha was supposed to have a grand release during Christmas this year. But, the film unit has confirmed that the movie will be postponed. The makers released a statement regarding the film's release and confirmed that it would hit the screens during Valentine's Day, next year.

“We welcome the decision of the administration to allow cinemas to re-open from 22nd Oct. Due to the delays faced as a result of the pandemic, we will be unable to release our film, Laal Singh Chaddha, this Christmas. We will now be releasing Laal Singh Chaddha on Valentine's Day 2022,” the statement read.

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is also playing a key role in the film. The movie also features Kareena Kapoor and Mona Singh.

Lal Singh Chaddha is the official Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood film Forrest Gump.
