After two back-to-back OTT releases in the form of V and Tuck Jagadish, Natural Star Nani will have a theatrical release after a long time with his upcoming movie Shyam Singha Roy. The shooting of this Rahul Sankrityan's directorial project has been wrapped up and the post-production works are currently underway.

According to the latest reports, streaming giant Netflix bagged the digital rights of this movie. Apparently, Netflix's team shelled a huge amount of money for the streaming rights. We hear that the theatrical and satellite right deals will also be locked soon.

Shyam Singha Roy is a period drama. The major portion of the film is set in the city of Kolkata. Sai Pallavi and Krithi Shetty are playing the female leads in this movie. The makers are planning to release it in December this year. Mickey J Meyer is composing the music and Niharika Entertainment is bankrolling the project.
