After multiple delays. Sai Dharam Tej's upcoming film Republic is gearing up for its release on October 1. Directed by Deva Katta, this movie features Aishwarya Rajesh as the female lead. The theatrical trailer of this flick was unveiled just about a while ago.

Going by it, the film looks like an out and out political drama which questions the loopholes of the present society. Tej played the role of the district collector, who is a flag bearer of sincerity. How he handled and corrected the corrupted political and judicial arena might be the main crux of this movie.

Jagapathi Babu and Ramya Krishna played the other pivotal roles in it. The visuals looked good and the trailer evoked interest in film. This is the first time Tej is attempting to do a political drama. We will be seeing him a completely new avatar in this movie.

Mani Sharma has composed the music of this film. Republic is being bankrolled by J B Entertainments. Zee Studios is presenting the project.
