Stylish Star Allu Arjun and director Sukumar teamed up for the third time for the prestigious project Pushpa. The film is scheduled to have a release in two parts. The first part of the film is titled Pushpa The Rise. The makers officially announced the film's release date today.

Going by the latest reports, the first part of the film will hit the screens for Christmas this year. The film unit has officially confirmed the same by releasing a new poster from the film.

The film's first part will introduce the character of Allu Arjun and will showcase his rise. He will be seen as a red sandalwood smuggler in the film.

Rashmika Mandanna plays the film's leading lady. Fahadh Faasil plays the lead antagonist in the film. Devi Sri Prasad is the film's music director.
