Kamal Haasan is currently working on the prestigious project Vikram. Lokesh Kanagaraj who earlier made Managaram, Kaithi, and Master is the director. The actor joined the sets and he calls it a high school reunion.

Sharing his experience of shooting for the film, Kamal Haasan wrote, "Day one of VIKRAM. Felt like a High school reunion. In the past 50 years, this is the longest I have been away from film shootings. Many filmmakers have not seen action for nearly a year. The film features Kamal Haasan as a gangster. Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil will be seen as lead antagonists.
