It seems like the biopic season is currently going on in all the film industries especially in Bollywood. We have already witnessed biopics like 'MS Dhoni', 'Azhar' etc which got released as biopics on sportspersons.

Now another sports drama is all set to come out and it is going to showcase India's historical triumph of the world cup in 1983. According to the latest buzz, the biopic on Ace cricketer Sourav Ganguly aka Dada is now on cards. Former Indian Skipper and present Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) member has recently given his nod for a biopic on him. According to the reports, the script work is currently underway and the makers have made Dada on multiple occasions for the same.

Rumors are rife that Ranbir Kapoor who recently starred in the biopic on Sanjay Datt will essay Sourav's role in this film. But the official announcement regarding the same is yet to get released.
