Ace director Sukumar is currently busy with the first installment of the much-awaited 'Pushpa' duology. Sukumar who never shies away to take up new challenges has decided to try experimenting with the antagonist role in 'Pushpa'.

According to the buzz, Sukumar wants to showcase comedian Sunil as the main antagonist in the film. The last time Sunil played a villain role was for Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja’s 'Disco Raja'. But, things did not work out as planned and the makers received only criticism regarding this decision. The fans are not ready to see Sunil as an antagonist. However, Sukumar wants to stick to his decision of casting Sunil for the antagonist role.

But is the risk really worth taking? Well, we have to wait and see. The unit recently resumed shooting in Hyderabad. Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead in the film.
