The situation in the Telugu states is slowly getting better and most of the film shootings are going to hit the floors. 'Acharya' starring Megastar Chiranjeevi is also one such film. Being directed by Koratala Siva, Ram Charan is playing a crucial role in the film whereas Kajal and Pooja Hegde is playing the female leads in the movie.

The makers are planning to resume the shooting from the 8th of this month. We hear that only 12 days of shooting is still pending and Ram Charan will participate in the shoot for at least 8 days. The movie will have a Dussehra release.

Acharya also features Pooja Hegde, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sangeetha in other roles. Mani Sharma is the film's music director. Acharya is jointly produced by Ram Charan and Matinee Entertainments production house.
