Sreesanth who recently returned to competitive cricket is also focusing on his acting career. The cricketer turned actor is all set to star in an upcoming Bollywood film, 'Patta' under the direction of R. Radhakrishnan. Billed to be a political thriller, the movie is also going to have some high-octane action sequences and mesmerizing music.

As per the ongoing reports, the movie is an experimental film and Sreesanth is going to play the role of a CBI officer. Talking about his role in the movie, the director said that as soon as he enacted the character, he liked the interpretation and believed that he can pull it off well.

On the other hand, cricketers like Harbhajan Singh and Irrfan Pathan are also marking their acting debuts. The duo will be seen in different films in Tamil. The release of the same will be announced soon.
