Leading film director Sukumar has decided to set up an oxygen generator plant on knowing about the plight of corona victims who could not find oxygen beds during this pandemic. He is contributing Rs 40 lakhs for building a DOCS80 Oxygen generator plant in Razole, near his hometown Kakinada.

Sukumar initially wanted to supply oxygen cylinders and concentrators worth Rs 25 lakhs, but decided to contribute another Rs 15 lakhs to build an oxygen plant with an intention of generating enough oxygen to meet patients needs, said Sukamar's friend Anyam Rambabu (Amalapuram Panchayati Raj DEE). His noble gesture is being appreciated by the residents of konaseema and entire film fraternity.
