Vijay Devarakonda was supposed to do a film with director Sukumar. The film is scheduled to begin right after the release of Pushpa. Because of this project, Vijay did not sign any new film and is waiting to finish his ongoing film Liger. But, Sukumar decided to release Pushpa in two parts, which means, he will have to invest more time and effort in Allu Arjun's project.

As per the buzz in the film industry, Vijay Devarakonda did not like this sudden change of plans. If Sukumar takes more time, that would result in Vijay Devarakonda being on a waiting mode after the completion of Liger. Although Shiva Nirvana is waiting to team up with Vijay Devarakonda, the actor did not give his nod yet for the project.

Vijay is also in talks with a couple of Bollywood filmmakers but he is more excited to work with Sukumar right after Liger.
