Touted to be the sequel of the blockbuster movie 'Indian', the upcoming movie 'Indian 2' is undoubtedly one of the highly anticipated movies in the industry. Directed by Shankar, Kamal Hassan is playing the lead role in this movie.
Lyca productions was onboard to bankroll this high-budget project. The audience are super excited about this film and everything was going on well until Lyca production submitted a petition urging the court to give a ban on Shankar from directing other films before wrapping up 'Indian 2'. However, instead of a ban, Madras High Court has informed Lyca to resolve the issue amicably and also asked Shankar to file a counter-petition. Shankar also submitted his petition and threw the entire blame on the lead actor Kamal Hassan and the production banner Lyca. "Kamal Hassan had a makeup allergy after which the movie shooting got delayed due to the crane accident.
Also, the coronavirus restrictions in the state delayed the shooting even more. I am not responsible for any loss incurred during the production process," said Shankar in his petition. The director also mentioned that the scenes involving veteran actor Vivek need to be reshot as the actor passed away recently. The next hearing of the case will be on June 4.
