Universal star Kamal Hassan who recently entered politics is now all set to focus more on his movie career. The actor who has utterly failed in the recent elections is now planning to get back in the movies. He is also planning to revive a shelved project. A few months ago, Shankar has announced the sequel of the blockbuster movie 'Indian' and the makers also kick-started the shooting with Kamal Haasan in the lead role.
But because of various reasons, the film finally got shelved. Initially, Lyca Productions got on board to bankroll this project. But later, the production banner has backed off and rumors came out that the reason behind it is because Shankar has demanded a whopping budget for the film.
The official announcement hasn't got released and rumors are now rife that Kamal Hassan is planning to develop the project by solving the issues between Lyca and Shankar. On the other hand, he is also going to wrap up the shooting of his upcoming film 'Vikram' under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj.
