The Malayalam version of 'Drishyam 2' starring Mohanlal has created a sensation on the OTT platforms and is being called as one of the best sequels ever made in Indian cinema. Now the Telugu version of the film titled 'Drushyam 2' starring Venkatesh is all set to get released soon. The shooting of the film got wrapped up in just 47 days and some patchwork is currently going on. The makers will focus on the post-production works of the movie after that.

But due to the second wave of covid-19, most of the small and medium-range movies are opting for OTT releases. On this note, rumors also came out that 'Drushyam 2' will also get released directly on the digital platforms. But Suresh Babu has finally reacted about the same.

He said that there is no truth and rumors of OTT release. "Whenever theatres are running with full capacity, our film will release," said Suresh Babu rubbishing rumors. Most of the actors from the first part will reprise their roles in the second part as well.
