The second wave of Corona is hitting the country badly. People from all walks of life are badly affected by the virus. There is no clarity on when this health crisis will come down. Interestingly, the theatres in several states are functioning partially and in some states, they remain inactive. In this scenario, the pan-India releases have come to a halt. With Salman Khan's Radhe opting for a simultaneous direct OTT release, it is clear that every other film will also have to follow the same or postpone the release. Thalaivi, RRR, Radhe Shyam, KGF: Chapter 2, Pushpa, Liger, Major, Gangubhai, and others are some of the pan-India releases that are lined up until October, this year. With this second wave of Corona, the audiences are not in a mood of entertainment, that too, in the theatres. Some of the films in the above-mentioned list are still in shooting mode. Given the current circumstances, it is very tough to proceed with the shoots. So, practically, it is not a favourable situation for the producers who are planning to release their films pan-India this year. We have to see how many will get pushed to next year!
