Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently busy shooting for his next film Acharya. Koratala Siva is the director. The film was supposed to hit the screens on 13th May. As per the latest media speculations, the team is worrying about the new COVID restrictions. With the rise in Corona cases in the country, the full occupancy in theatres is not completely possible in all the states. Already, a few state governments have already announced half occupancy in theatres. Acharya is being planned as a pan-India film. The film is expected to release in multiple states. There are reports that for the next three to four months, there will be more restrictions in terms of occupancy in theatres. Acharya is a film that can do a pre-release business of 100 Crores. But if the film gets postponed, it will be a big setback for the film unit. Already, the film experienced multiple delays. So, the film unit is now keeping their fingers crossed that the film will release on time.
