According to the sources, Naga Babu will be playing the main antagonist role in the Hindi remake of Chatrapathi. This film is being directed by VV Vinayak and features Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas as the lead hero. They are making their Bollywood debut with this venture. If Naga Babu's inclusion is true, this marks his debut in Hindi as well.

Chatrapathi is the 2005 blockbuster that was directed by SS Rajamouli. It featured Prabhas and Shriya Saran in the lead roles. Pradeep Rawat played the antagonist in it. The lead heroine of the Hindi remake is yet to be confirmed. The regular shooting of this project will be started soon. It is being produced by Jayantilal Gada under his banner of Pen Studios.
