The 67th National Film Awards were announced just about a while ago and two Telugu films have bagged two awards each this time. They are Jersey and Maharshi. While Jersey won the categories of Best Regional Feature Film (Telugu) and Best Editing, Maharshi won the categories of Best Choreography and Best Feature Film providing Wholesome entertainment.

Jersey is a 2019 sports drama written and directed by Gautham Tinnanuri. Starring Nani and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles, the film is an emotional roller-coaster that deals with the life of a middle-aged cricketer. The film won the Best Regional Film (Telugu) category this time. Editor Navin Nooli bagged the Best Editor Award for his work.

On the flip side, star choreographer Raju Sundaram won the Best Choreography Award for his work in the film Maharshi. The movie also won the award of Best Feature Film providing Wholesome Entertainment. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Maharshi features Superstar Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde as the leads.
