Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's Hari Hara Veera Mallu is the first historic film that the actor is doing in his career. Pawan Kalyan and Niddhi Agerwal are playing the lead roles in the film. Jacqueline Fernandez is also playing a key role in the film. As per the reports, the director Krish initially wrote the film for Varun Tej.

After Kanche, Krish wanted to work with Varun again. The director penned the film's script but the budget went beyond the actor's market. It is when the director decided to do another film with Varun Tej. However, the two films did not happen. After a long time, Krish decided to do this film with Pawan Kalyan and that's how it got materialized.

Varun might have done justice to the role but it would not have garnered the craze that the film is currently experiencing. AM Ratnam is the film's producer. MM Keervani is the film's music director.
