Actor Tanish landed in a controversy after his name popped up in a drug-related case a couple of days back. Since then, the media linked Tanish directly to the case and started spreading false news about him. Finally, the actor came out and held a press conference to reveal the actual story. Recently, Bangalore based Banaswadi sub-division police have arrested a few film celebrities in a drug-related case.

Apparently, they sent a notice to Tanish asking him about the details of an accused in the case. It seems that the accused is a film producer and worked with Tanish a couple of years back. Tanish stated that it's been more than two years since he was in contact with that producer.

He clarified that he has no relation to the case and he is not accused in it as well. The actor stated that his family members are hurt by the fake news spread in the media. He requested the media not to spread such false news without cross-checking the facts.
