During the promotions of the film, The actress said that when she wanted to get a divorce from A L Vijay, so many people called her and threatened her.

"No one supported me for my decision and even warned me that my entire career will get disturbed. No one cared about my pain and mental pressure," said Amala Paul who has a bunch of interesting projects in a pipeline at the moment.
